About our Principal

Mr. Abraham Varghese, Principal of Dr. Raj K. Chopra Memorial Public School, brings with him decades of rich experience in academic leadership and school administration across India and the Middle East. His professional journey includes serving as Academic Director of the All India Private Schools Association, Principal of CKMNSS School, Chalakudy, and Headmaster of The Oxford School, Dubai. He has also held senior leadership and counselling roles as Director of the Muslim Education Board, Tirur, Chief Counsellor at the International Indian School, Riyadh, and Senior Counsellor at the Indian School, Muscat. Beginning his career as an English teacher at Corpus Christi School, Kottayam, Mr. Varghese combines deep pedagogical insight with strong institutional leadership, guiding the school with clarity, discipline, and a commitment to holistic education.

Social impact

In 2007, recognizing the struggles faced by first-generation learners, the school introduced completely free residential facilities. Hundreds of children from EWS and tribal families have received full support including free boarding, food, uniforms, and learning materials.
