ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Dr. Raj. K. Chopra Memorial Public School is a residential-cum-day educational institution dedicated to uplifting children from rural, tribal, and economically challenged communities of the Dumda region, Songadh Taluka, Tapi District, Gujarat. Founded in 2005 with the launch of our Kindergarten sections, the school was established by a Christian charitable trust with a deep commitment to service, compassion, and community development. Over the years, the institution expanded and today provides quality education from KG to Class 6, serving as a strong foundation for young learners.

We also extend thoughtful and continuous support to deserving children from economically weaker backgrounds, ensuring that financial limitations never become an obstacle to genuine learning. By combining structured academics, character-building opportunities, and accessible education for all, we strive to nurture well-rounded individuals prepared for a responsible and meaningful future.

In 2007, recognising the struggles faced by first-generation learners and children from low-income families, the school took a major step by introducing completely free residential facilities. Since then, hundreds of children from EWS and tribal families have received full support including free boarding, food, uniforms, textbooks, stationery, and learning materials, ensuring equal access to education regardless of financial constraints. Our campus is designed to be a safe, nurturing, and disciplined environment where children can learn and grow with dignity. A committed team of teachers, wardens, and support staff work together to foster academic excellence, character development, moral values, creativity, and independent thinking. The school encourages a balanced approach combining classroom learning with sports, activities, digital exposure, and life-skills training.
